Abstract
The authors outline a relief action in Armenia in the form of offering pediatricians and physical therapists a theoretical and practical postgraduate course in the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy and polytraumatics. In addition, by means of practical demonstrations, the course focused on and presented the possibilities of Occupational Therapy which are little known in Armenia. The course was given in close cooperation with Armenian physicians and physical therapists. The Swiss team consisted of two pediatricians, two physical therapists and three occupational therapists. The authors also indicate the necessity to consider the specific difficulties of this Caucasean country which is generally little known.
