Establishing an occupational therapy education programme in Romania: achievements and difficulties

ABSTRACT

The article describes in term of results and issues the two main projects that succeed to introduce the Occupational Therapy educational program into the Universities.

2 In accordance with the Law of National Education Nr.1/ 2011, Title IV, Chapter II, Section 1, art. 285, paragraph (1) and art. 301 the teaching staff within the academic space must have a PhD diploma: experience is not required. Paragraphs (4) and (5) of the same art.285 which provide for exceptions we do not know if were later included into the law (2014/2015).
