Supriya Kar (Dr.) is an editor and translator from Odisha, India. She has received the Charles Wallace Translation Fellowship in 2008, and was a Translator-at Residence at British Centre for Literary Translation, United Kingdom. She has also received the Junior fellowship from Ministry of Culture, Government of India (2008–2010), SRTT Library fellowship from School of Women’s Studies, Jadavpur University, and Visiting Scholarship to Wolfson College, Cambridge University for her work on life writing. She has co-edited Spark of Light: Short stories by Women from Odisha, 1899 to the present day (Athabasca University Press Canada, 2016).
