Kathleen Liddle is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto. Her research interests lie at the intersections of the sociology of culture, organizations, gender and sexualities. Her current project uses the case of feminist bookstores to explore the negotiation of conflicting logics in organizational fields and the significance of distribution sites in shaping the acquisition and interpretation of cultural materials.
