Saúl Espino-Armendáriz

Saúl Espino-Armendáriz is a Research Associate at El Colegio de México, Mexico City, Mexico. He holds a PhD and an MA in History from the same institution and a BA in Latin American Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. His doctoral dissertation about the transnational history of Catholic feminism has received awards from the LASA Mexico Section, the National Academy of Sciences of Mexico, and the National Institute of Anthropology and History. His main interest is the intersection of gender studies and religion in Latin American contemporary history.
