Journal of Horticultural Science and Biotechnology – Journal Prize 2021

As part of the collaboration between the Trustees and Publishers of the Journal of Horticultural Science and Biotechnology, an annual monetary prize was established for the paper with the most impact published in the previous year. For this prize, impact is interpreted in its widest sense to include paper views, downloads, citations and Altmetric scores.

We are very pleased to announce that the Journal Prize for 2020 (Vol 95) has been awarded to:

We congratulate the authors of the winning paper, which is a multidisciplinary collaboration between Brazilian researchers from 3 departments at the Federal University of Paraíba and the Federal Institute of Sertão de Pernambuco, Petrolina. The paper describes the synergistic effect of edible coatings in improving the postharvest quality of Mango fruit.
