Leanda de Lisle
Leanda de Lisle read history at Somerville College, Oxford, and worked in journalism for fifteen years. She has published three books on the Tudor period: The Sisters who Would be Queen: The Tragedy of Mary, Katherine and Lady Jane Grey (2010); After Elizabeth: The Death of Elizabeth and the Coming of James (2012); and Tudor: The Family Story (2014). She is currently preparing a biography of Charles I with the working title of White King.
