Janet Dickinson
Janet Dickinson is Senior Associate Tutor at the Department for Continuing Education at the University of Oxford and Lecturer for New York University in London. Publications include Court Politics and the Earl of Essex (2011) and a number of book chapters on aspects of the English and European courts. Current projects include work on the Elizabethan nobility and the last years of Elizabeth I’s life. She is Researcher for ‘Maritime Archaeology meets Cultural History: Texel shipwreck BZN17 in context’, exploring the elite objects discovered in a seventeenth-century shipwreck in the Netherlands.
