Abstract

This paper describes a multi-agency education initiative, carried out in Essex, that seeks to increase awareness of key Stage 3 pupils (age 11–14) to the grooming behaviour of paedophiles. It reviews the results from this pilot study and highlights developments made as a result of the evaluation. The paper discusses the need for further education initiatives in the arena of child sexual abuse.
