An interview with Michael Keller

Abstract

This interview was conducted on May 5 and June 19, 2001, in Ithaca and San Francisco, respectively. Keller is currently University Librarian, Director of Academic Information Resources, Publisher of HighWire Press, and Publisher of Stanford University Press. In this interview, he discusses his role as what he refers to as “steward of Stanford’s resources” and shares his views on issues such as Stanford’s reorganization of technical services and emerging models for scholarly communication.
