Our second issue of our 38th volume is a standard issue. This issue also includes our first Clinical Review Editorial of the year by Dr. Christopher K. Belous. This is always a must read ahead of each issue!
In this issue we have several articles, which focus on a variety of topics like female-centered sexual functioning and health, examination of the effects of sexual education, exploration of sexuality and sexual functioning in later ages of adulthood, ways of measuring pornography consumption, and investigation of sexual satisfaction in long-distance and geographically close mixed-gender relationships. A few of the articles in this issue have already garnered a bit of attention in the early view online hosting by Taylor and Francis of the journal’s website and thus, will be briefly highlighted in this Editorial Introduction. The first of these articles is focused on investigating sexual satisfaction in long-distance and geographically close mixed-gender relationships in the context of the relationship maintenance framework (Goldsmith & Byers, Citation2020). The second of the articles offers findings from a study focused on providing initial evidence for the validity of a scale aimed at measurement of pornography consumption without assigning value to the behavior (Hatch et al., Citation2020).
