Two-dimensional continuous wavelet transform has been performed to the directly simulated turbulent channel flow at low Reynolds number. The scale-dependency of turbulence intermittency is studied in the near-wall region. The intermittency level in terms of flatness factors is obtained at different scales and different locations to the wall. A method to decompose the flow signals into the intermittent and the non-intermittent is proposed, and the typical intermittent structures in the near-wall region are obtained.
