It is with deep sadness that we report the recent death of our esteemed colleague, Peter Carr, after a short illness. We have lost a good person and a creative scientist.
Peter was unfailingly generous with his time and helpful to others. His contributions to Quantitative Finance, both the subject and the journal, were numerous and significant.
Peter’s many honors included Risk Magazine Quant of the Year (2003) and IAFE/Sungard Financial Engineer of the Year (2010). In terms of work ethic, he was no less than a force of nature.
