ABSTRACT
Although the human lifespan continues to expand and the experience of ageing changes, many parts of society, including the churches, continue to marginalise the experience of older people. This paper argues that in order to chart our course through the new story of ageing, we need older people to act as guides, and we need to use the hidden clues in their stories to interpret what is emerging.
