Daniel A. Keating

Daniel A. Keating is Professor of Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan, where he teaches on Scripture, the Church Fathers, Ecumenism, and the New Evangelisation. He received a D.Phil. in theology from Oxford in 2000. He is the author of The Appropriation of Divine Life in Cyril of Alexandria (Oxford: 2004), Deification and Grace (Sapientia: 2007), and Athanasius and His Legacy (Fortress: 2017). Individual studies include ‘Justification, Sanctification, and Divinisation in Thomas Aquinas’ (2004) and ‘Typologies of Deification’ (2015).
