Rachael Schwabe
Rachael Schwabe is a second year MA student at the Bard Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture in New York City, New York. She specializes in examining the intersections of craft and contemporary art, as well as exploring performative objects and modes of relationality. Recent research projects include an annotated digital guide to images of the craftsperson’s body from William Morris to the San Francisco Cockette Prissy Andrews, and a study of sentimentality in Victorian and contemporary hair works.
