Nune Ayvazyan holds an MA in translation studies from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She held a grant from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra to develop teaching at the BA level and a Marie-Curie temporary grant from the European Commission at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. She is a member of the project MIME-Mobility and Inclusion in Multilingual Europe. Her current research interests fall into the areas of teaching foreign languages through communicative translation, multilingualism in minority communities and translation theories in the Soviet era.
