Jan-Louis Kruger

Jan-Louis Kruger is Professor and Head of Department of Linguistics at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. His main research deals with the reception and processing of language in multimodal contexts such as subtitled film, using eye tracking combined with psychometric instruments and performance measures. He has published widely on empirical studies in audiovisual translation and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Audiovisual Translation.
