Discussion

Editorial note

In the previous issue of Translation Studies, we opened a Forum on translating Indigenous languages, with a provocation piece by Valerie Henitiuk and Marc-Antoine Mahieu, followed by the first round of responses from scholars based in Canada and the United States. In this issue, the scope of the discussion broadens to include further responses from Canada, Ecuador, and China, and the various threads are brought together in Henitiuk and Mahieu’s closing remarks. The Editorial Team would like to thank all contributors for their valuable insights, hoping that this Forum will continue to inspire further discussions, engagements, and collaborations.
