Abstract
Two new bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids, α, α′-dioxo-7′-O-demethylstebisimine (1) and 7′-O-demethylstebisimine (2), along with 14 known alkaloids, were isolated from the roots of Cocculus laurifolius. These alkaloids were characterized mainly by spectroscopic methods.
