Abstract
From a biologically active fraction of extract from the fungus Fomitopsis pinicola, a new lanostane triterpene was isolated, 3α-acetyloxylanosta-8,24-diene-21-ol (1), along with two known triterpenic acids, (2) and (3). The structures of the compounds were elucidated based on their spectral properties.
