Abstract
X-ray topographs revealing dislocations in aluminium single crystals at temperatures up to 400°c are obtained by Lang's x-ray diffraction technique. At the temperatures 340°c and 370°c the annealing of dislocations has been observed by taking topographs at certain time intervals. The dislocation density ρ as a function of time t can for the one run made at each temperature be described by 1/ρ = 1/ρ0 + αt where α is a constant different for the two temperatures.
