Kakoma Luneta

Dr Luneta is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education in the Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, where he has been a faculty member since January 2005. He holds a PhD in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Witwatersrand and master's degree in mathematics teacher education from the University of Sussex. His research interest is in Mathematics Teachers Education; Mathematics/numeric cognition and Professional Development and Mentorship of Mathematics Teachers. He has supervised over 15 PhD students and over 20 masters' students to completion and has written 4 books and published several articles in the field of mathematics education.
