Abstract
A new norditerpenoid alkaloid 9-hydroxysenbushine A has been isolated from the roots of high altitude Himalayan herbAconitum balfourii by means of vacuum liquid chromatography and centrally accelerated radial thin layer chromatographic techniques and identified by means of MS, 1H and 13C NMR spectral methods.
