Abstract

This paper describes the structure, characteristics, and features of a sea gravimeter of the type ZYZY designed and developed by the authors. We present some of the laboratory test results and give general measurements and accuracy results at sea. The test results show that the standard error is less than ±2.0 mgal, the drift rate is about 0.5 mgal/day, and the anti‐interference ability is ±120 gal. The ZYZY can be used as a reliable measuring tool of sea gravity.
