Hemant Jain
Hemant Jain is Wisconsin Distinguished & Tata Consultancy Services Professor of Management Information System at the University of Wisconsin -- Milwaukee. He received his Ph. D. in Information Systems from Lehigh University in 1981, and a M. Tech in Industrial Engineering from I.I.T. Kharagpur (India). His research interests are in the area of electronic commerce, system development using reusable components, multi-criteria decision making, distributed & co-operative computing systems, architecture design, database management and data warehousing. He has published articles in Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, IEEE transactions on Software Engineering, Journal of MIS, Communications of ACM, Navel Research Quarterly, Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, etc. Prof. Jain is on the editorial Board of the Information Technology & Management, International Journal of Information Technology and Decision Making and is book review editor for Journal of Information Technology Cases & Applications (JITCA). Prof. Jain has worked with Fortune 500 companies including Ameritech Corporation, Northwestern Mutual Life and Rockwell Automation.
