Anil Kumar

Dr. Anil Kumar is a Professor of Information Systems at Central Michigan University. He is a GITMA fellow and the 2012–2014 Towle Professor of Information Systems at Central Michigan University. His research interests include managing information resources, technology-mediated learning, and creating value from social media technologies. He has published in the Journal of Information Technology Theory and Application, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Decision Support Systems, TQM Journal, Total Quality Management & Business Excellence, Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, Industrial Management and Data Systems, Information Processing and Management, and several other journals. Dr. Kumar has presented more than 50 papers at international and national conferences.

Poonam Kumar

Dr. Poonam Kumar is the Director of Online Learning and Professor of Educational Technology at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. She has been teaching online courses and has been engaged in online education research since 1998. Her work has been published in the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, International Journal of Wed Based Learning and Teaching Technologies, Journal of Marketing Education and the Communications of Global Information Technology Journal.

Shailendra C. Jain Palvia

Dr. Shailendra C. Jain Palvia is Professor of MIS at Long Island University (LIU) Post. At LIU, he was Director of MIS during 1997–2004. He received his Ph.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota, and B.S. in Chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India. He has published over 150 refereed articles in journals, including Decision Sciences, Communications of the ACM, MIS Quarterly, Information & Management, Communications of AIS, Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Systems Management, International Journal of Information Management, Electronic Markets, Information Resource Management Journal, Journal of Industrial Management and Data Systems, Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Information Systems Education, and in conference proceedings and books. As Founding Editor during 1999–2007 and current editor since January 2014, he has been editing the Journal of IT Case and Application Research (JITCAR). During 2002–2013, he has chaired 13 annual international smart-sourcing conferences (www.outsourceglobal.org). He has been invited speaker to Germany, India, Italy, Singapore, Thailand, and Russia. Dr. Palvia has co-edited four books on Global IT Management and one book on Global Sourcing Management. He is currently Fulbright-Nehru Senior Scholar affiliated with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India.

Sanjay Verma

Dr. Sanjay Verma is an Associate Professor of Information Systems area at IIM Ahmedabad. He also teaches in the Marketing and Business Policy areas. His teaching interests are in Management Information System, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence/Analytics with applications in Marketing/Operations. He engages in work related to Knowledge Management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), e-Governance, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). He has collaborated in developing algorithms for project scheduling problems as well as in developing decision support systems for marketing function. Dr. Verma has been involved in teaching and consulting with organizations engaged in the field of retail, health, insurance, infrastructure, education, and the social sector.
