With the infusion of Artificial Intelligence (AI), podcasting is undergoing a profound transformation. Many university libraries offer a basic podcast studio as one of their spaces and the use of AI podcasting tools will become more prevalent. AI tools can now assume a pivotal role in content planning, enhancing audio quality, and leveraging marketing and accessibility. Undoubtably, AI's profound influence on podcasting will usher in a redefinition of podcasting, marking a profound shift in this progressive medium.

Lara Taylor currently serves as the Instructional Technology Specialist for the MSU Libraries. She specializes in generative artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and software instruction.
