Abstract
To be effective in the classroom, Jewish teachers expect services and support from their principals. These expectations, however, are not often clearly expressed because of the rushed, infrequent, and hierarchical encounters between principal and teachers typically prevalent in Jewish supplementary schools where the staff is mostly part-time and arrives shortly before classes.
