Abstract

Convergent synthesis of 9-(2,3-dideoxy-2,3-difluoro-β-D-arabinofuranosyl)adenine is described starting from methyl 5-O-benzyl-2-deoxy-2-fluoro-α-D-arabinofuranoside.
