Abstract

The synthesis of adenosine methylphosphonate dimers, the separation of the diastereomers and the conversion into phosphoramidites is presented. These dimer building blocks were tested in the solid phase DNA synthesis of the hairpin decanucleotide 5′-CGCAAAAGCG-3′.
