Principles for Air Quality Management: An Environmental Nongovernment Organization (ENGO) Perspective

Abstract

Over the past 10–15 years there have been many positive developments in environmental policy that have resulted in reductions in air pollutant emissions in Canada. This article presents an environmental nongovernmental organization (ENGO) perspective on air quality management policy initiatives at various levels in Canada, including a discussion of gaps, barriers, and opportunities for future integrated policy solutions to address both air quality and climate change.
