Abstract
The 18th annual congress of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society took place in London at UCL from July 13–15, 2017. Delegates attended from countries from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. This report gives an overview of the meeting, providing summaries of the keynote talks and plenary symposia. Many talks focused on the idea of predictive coding and its relation to the construction of the self and/or clinical phenomena; other talks addressed a wide range of topics in experimental and clinical neuropsychoanalysis.
