Abstract
A microcomputer system was set up to facilitate storage and retrieval of industrial hygiene air sampling data. The microcomputer can quickly and efficiently perform searches for records falling into specific catagories such as air samples taken for a particular contaminant at a specific plant that are above the TLV. Records can be alphabetized by alphabetic data items, such as name, or put into descending order by numeric data items such as concentration. The cost of the microcomputer system was sufficiently low to make it an attractive alternative to the use of large mainframe computers.
