Abstract

Modifications to the slide immunoenzymatic assay (SIA) using the PAP reagent (SIA-PAP) were developed which increase sensitivity considerably. These SIA modifications are particularly useful for measuring speedily antibodies in dilute samples available only in μ1-volumes when antigen is scarce, whether a molecule, or a prokaryotic or eukaryotic cell.
