Library Check-Up: Medical Residents and Fellows' Library Questionnaire Responses

Pages 323-331 | Published online: 07 Sep 2008

ABSTRACT

Hospital libraries serve a vital role in the support and education of medical residents and fellows, and librarians want to know how well the doctors' needs are being met. Questionnaires about the quality and use of library resources were administered to house staff at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, and results from 2003–2007 were compared and contrasted. While many resource and service needs remained the same, patron feedback was helpful in guiding the library in making gradual improvements.
