Abstract

Looking for a new way to teach evidence-based nursing, Jean Stepian and her study group of evidence-based practice nurses developed a light-hearted play to teach nurses and other clinical staff how to incorporate current literature and research into daily practice. The play was such a hit that Jean shared it with colleagues in the New England region Regional Advisory Counsel. Now rewritten with a new topic, the play is being shared with you.

Notes

Nursing Practice Court was originally written by Jean Slepian and the Evidence-based Nursing Group at Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, NH. The MRSA version was presented to the Nursing and Allied health Section at the 2008 MLA Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.
