The Effect that Electronic Collections has on Cataloging

Abstract

This article briefly discusses the effects that electronic collections have on catalogers and cataloging departments in medical libraries. Electronic collections must be managed differently than print collections; therefore, the skills needed by a cataloger are changing as medical library collections become more electronic.
