ABSTRACT

Based on an Immersion Session from the Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association in Chicago, May 2019, this panel of librarians traced the history of their experiences and offered pointers for success as librarians that stepped out of the library into the clinical arena to take direct information requests or more importantly perceive information needs to better educate the health care providers, improve patient care and aid in clinical research.
