Abstract

To genuinely love someone in life is to endure great pain with their death. The unexpected passing away of my adored mother led me to realize not only what I had lost, but who I was now as a result of that loss. A process of rediscovery and strength begins by carrying her pride in my heart and finding ways to keep her soul alive.
