Abstract
With technological advances in the area of content analysis come theoretical and practical challenges. This review examines three different approaches to the use of technology in content analysis, examining them for their conceptual definitions of content analysis, their treatment of methodological issues, particularly those relating to big data and the Internet, and their perspectives on the use of CATA. Recommendations for the use of these three books by researchers and teachers conclude the review.
