Abstract

This study examined the degree of psychopathology in Anglo (N = 2,991) and Chicano (N = 205) children enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade. Teachers provided general information and Behavior Problem Checklist ratings on the children. Results indicated that there were no differences in behavioral disturbance between the groups. The findings were generally consistent with previous research which has demonstrated that Anglos have more behavior problems than Chicanos.
