Article title: Protective effect of Pulsatilla Saponin A on acute myocardial infarction via miR-24-3p/p16

Authors: Feng Dong, Yanhua Pu, Yanfei Lv, Xiujuan Liu and Yimin Cao

Journal: Toxicology Mechanisms and Methods

DOI: http://doi.org/10.1080/15376516.2021.1963364

In the 1st paragraph of the materials and methods section, the authors mentioned that ‘Twenty patients diagnosed with heart disease in the department of Jinan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were enrolled in our study.’ However, this study was hosted and led by Jinan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and supported by the other hospitals. But the tissue specimens were collected from patients at Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University.

In the Compliance with ethical standards section, the authors mentioned that ‘This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Jinan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital’. It should be ‘This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University’. And this is consistent with the above correction in the materials and methods section.

The authors sincerely apologize for the errors introduced in the paper. This has now been corrected on the online version of the paper.
