Abstract

DynaMed is a useful point-of-care reference work that outlines information relevant to the diagnosis and treatment of patients and evaluates the level of evidence supporting clinical interventions, including complementary and alternative interventions. The integration of conventional, complementary, and alternative therapies in DynaMed and other point-of-care tools has implications for clinical practice, consumer health, the design of clinical reference works, and the classification of therapies.
