Abstract

In 2012, the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and the Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) merged to form Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE). FARE is the world’s leading food allergy advocacy organization and the largest private funder of food allergy research. Through its website alone (http://www.foodallergy.org), FARE advances its mission by improving the quality of life and the health of the more than 85 million Americans living with life-threatening food allergies through transformative research, education, and advocacy. I feel that it is an outstanding resource and I strongly recommend it as a consumer health website for food allergies.
