Abstract
A novel transition metal multiligand coordination compound Cd(SCZ)Cl2 was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and FTIR spectroscopy. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that Cd(SCZ)Cl2 crystallizes in Orthorhombic Pna21 space group. The thermal decomposition mechanism of Cd(SCZ)Cl2 was studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), which revealed that the complex contained one main endothermic process and one main exothermic process between 474 K and 648 K. The nonisothermal kinetics parameters were calculated by the Kissinger's method and Ozawa-Doyle's method, respectively.
