Modification of properties of polymer electrolyte by incorporation of titanium dioxide nanoparticles

&

Abstract

The work deals with modification of conductive and structural property of PEMA-based plasticized polymer electrolyte by incorporation of nanosized titanium dioxide nanoparticle. The overall conductivity increased by 100 times on addition of varying concentration of nanoparticles. Complex impedence spectroscopy was used to measure the conductivity of the fabricated nanocomposites. Perfect complexation among various components used in this composite was proved by FTIR studies. XRD confirmed the variation in crystallinity of the prepared sample. Scanning electron microscopy was used to study the surface morphology of the prepared samples.
