Abstract

The p-methoxy-, p-ethoxy and p-butoxy-phenylazoxy-p'-phenylesters of the following acids have been prepared: β-chloro and β-bromopropionic acid and acrylic acid. The transition temperatures of these compounds were determined by microscopy and their behaviour discussed.
