Abstract
As the use of mobile devices in health care increases, more educational programs are incorporating mobile resources into both their clinical and didactic curricula. Librarians can be instrumental in supporting these programs by implementing strategies for support, content management, and instruction. A guidance document outlining specifications for devices will help students choose a device for purchase. Librarians can help choose software that will be relevant and usable to a mobile user population. For didactic programs in particular, faculty support is an important consideration. Finally, librarians need to design instruction for both the beginner and proficient mobile user.
