ABSTRACT
Google Books provides a large number of resources that have been scanned by participating libraries and publishers. Google indexed these works using Optical Character Recognition software to make them discoverable. Due to the nature of health sciences research and its reliance on up-to-date materials, most of the content in Google Books does not seem to be of great use. However, if library integration is introduced into this product in the future, as it is currently with Google Scholar, Google Books may become a much more useful resource for health sciences libraries.
